Lenovo Ideaphone S890, For Those Who Do.

I've been using this Sony Walkman W660i phone for 6 years and I thought of using it until the very last day of its battery. I have never intended to change to any smartphone available in the market. (Plus, if I get one for myself, I am throwing myself into supporting those smartphones for my clients. Tanak ah!) Along these years, I faced no issue with social media, for I had usually access them via Laptop.

This phone comes with 2Megapixels Camera, 16MB internal, 3G, I am satisfied enough that it can capture photo, video, play MP3, and other simple features that a phone can do. Though the screen sizes to only 2", the whole phone fits nicely into my pocket when it weights only 93grams. And yes, it is still in good condition, accept for the screen protector lah.

So long my dear, but I ain't throwin you away...
But being "forced" over and over by smart asses out there and being "blamed" for not supporting technology when I am myself, working in IT World, I think it is about time for me to get a smartphone. I am giving 80% of my interest to Samsung but hubby came out with this brand, that is no alien in my nature of business. Well, I am supporting this company, for God sake!

IT savvy frequently heard of this brand on laptop and desktop, but seldom heard this name on the phone. This phone has gone viral at China and was out of stock when it was recently launched. I had no obligation to get one though I know it won't top any popular smartphone brands out there. Coz it cheap! And I am a cheapo! Hahaha! Ala, my requirement pun sebab nak Wassapp dengan Instagram and bit of Keek jer punnnnn!

And so he checked and compared, and he told me that I can get the same specs as Samsung Grand, BUT, cheaper by RM200! So, why not? I called up my support guy and checked on this smarty, and received a good feedback, more or less similar to what I've read in forums and reviews.

Here are the range of series and I get myself, the latest in the market, a Lenovo Ideaphone S890, in white.
What caught me most is the 5" screen and 8Megapixels. Anyhow, the 4GB internal is too way lower, but the rest are just good enough for me. (Do not compare with S3, Notes, Xperia Z, or higher. Itu bengong namanya ye.)

Let's see what's in the box!
Phone
Original Leather Flip Casing
Original Rear Casing
3-pin USB Charger Head
USB Cable
Earphone

Original Leather Flip Casing (Leather at front, plastic at the back)

5" IPS Display with Screen Protector

9.3mm thin

For my social media followers, with immediate effect, do bear with my vain pics and videos coz I don't even care whether you like it or not, hell yeah, I'm gonna post it all! Well, uh-uh, coz you, ask for it! *niggah style* Call me a smartphone user now. Thanks to smartass out there! (Yes, you know who you are...go pat your back!)

P/S: Guess what? Lenovo just launched a new phone, a day after I bought their latest one. GREAT!!

Canon DSLR 650D, AEE SD21 MagiCam, and Jenova Milano V-Bag

Got these items for my coming trip! Let's see what come straight from the oven!

Canon DSLR 650D (Body Only).
I am longing for a gadget that can take good pictures and make good videos. I was contemplating to get a separate gadgets (DSLR and Action Camera), but wanting to have it in the same body seems pretty impossible. We are Canon supporters, thus, we looked for this brand first. Knowing that most of DSLRs don't have video-focus feature, I was introduced with the two latest items on market, Canon 100D and Canon 700D. Both having STM lens (better focus) but both come in different sizes. I'd prefer a smaller DSLR since I have a small palm, but looking at the size of Canon 700D wasn't a big deal to me either. Luck wasn't on my side, 700D was mostly out of stock at Low Yat Plaza. It left me with no choice but Canon 650D, the closest and similar features with Canon 700D. Since hubby has extra lens, so we decided to purchase just the body, instead of kit. I also got myself a free SanDisk cam-wrap and Legaria memory card casing. I've tested this camera, and felt super excited with the result, for I am holding a better DSLR than hubby's Canon 550D. Hahaha! (Well, he used to own the best, Canon 50D then!)
Meet "Roger Federer". Classy!

AEE SD21 MagiCam with 16GB Ultra 10 memory card.
Initially, we wanted to go for GoPro Hero 3 (Black Edition - Full HD). Having no LCD (accessories), we looked for its closest rival, Sony AS 15 (Full HD). We called all Sony Centers in KL, and all of them told us that they didn't have this model in Malaysia. Anyhow, one of the direct dealer offered this model, but we need to secure the booking. Since we need this gadget urgently, without knowing when we can get it, we looked for another brand, that was Rollei Racy (Full HD). While surveying on this model, one of the shop in Low Yat Plaza recommended AEE SD21 to us, where it has almost all features that we wanted for (except for burst mode, pfft!). With limited info in hand, we purchased this item that came with two years warranty and free 16GB Ultra 10 memory card. We've tested, and felt satisfied. (Just got to know that we can get a cheaper price out there, but this was the ONLY option that we have at that moment, so we have to live with it.)
Meet "Rafael Nadal". Adventurous!

Jenova Milano V-Bag.
Since I have a new HUGE camera (Canon Powershoot S5 is way smaller), I need to find a bag for it. And being a petite lady who always have sling handbag during travel, I can't afford to carry another bag pack just for a camera. So I decided to get a sling V-bag (I called it "beg spender" hahaha!) While walking in KLCC last weekend, we came across one camera kiosk that sell this kind of bag. The minute they told me the price of this bag, I straight away nodded and agreed to purchase it. This bag comes with rain-cover and it has plenty of rooms to put in the camera (with longer lens), cables and charges. Cute!
Meet "Novak Djokovic." Funny!

Well, I can put both, the camera and the action cam, in the same bag! Woohoo!

I can't tell you that I'll take good pictures and videos with these, but at least, it would be better than before la kot kan :)

Let's island-ing!

Pet Cage and Pet Auto Feeder

My life is getter lot easier nowadays...with some extra cost that I have to spend, for sure. Previously, I have only one cat, huge cat (weighted 6kg), named Kiki. I bought 3 feet non-tier white cage for him, and this cage is used only to put him after bathe, or whenever guests are in the house. However, having another small cat (weighted 1kg), named Kobe, this cage seems irrelevant. Kobe being super active, will always scream and walk madly in this small cage. With Kobe tailing Kiki 24/7, I thought of getting them another bigger cage. Well, I can see how stress Kiki with Kobe.

I went to few pet shops and browsed through out the web and found one website, that no one can beat (the price). The website Kucing4sale is in Manglish, hence I thought it is managed by a Malay. But when I called, he turned out to be a Chinese. Hubby and I drove to Taman Desa where we couldn't locate his shop. I called him and found that his shop is in his house.

At first, I wanted to buy the promo big black color cage with the size of 53"H x 36"L x 23"W (133cmH x 90cmL x 58cmW) that cost only RM269. But after few seconds, I changed my mind and chose the white color, coz white looks cleaner and better...with extra RM30 lah. Hmm...close one eye, and so I bought the big white cage, smaller by 2 inches than the big black cage. The size is 51"H x 36"L x 23"W (133cmH x 90cmL x 58cmW) that cost RM299.

Installing the cage was quite challenging. It took two persons to have it stand still. This cage comes with tray, wheels, and 3-tier platform. Earlier, I purchased 1-tier platform separately, for the old small cage. So I took it out and install it in this bigger cage. Now, Kiki and Kobe look more comfy in this 4-tiers platform, where they can freely hop here and there, and have their own space to sleep.

One day before, I told hubby that we should get an auto feeder for Kiki and Kobe. I have this idea for quite some time, coz we always travel around. I have no issue with Kiki, for he knows how to budget the portion each time he wants to eat. But with Kobe around, he will eat it all!

I've been holding the feeling to buy this thing due to it's price. Average price that I see is from RM300-RM400 per unit (with different brand and function, of course). Knowing Nursemaid as the most popular brand, I tried to look for other options. The cheaper that I can get was RM320.

So I called another pet shop in Puchong caled Pets4U is selling Hola brand, with the price of RM245 (10% discount for purchase above RM100). I straight away bought it, without a doubt. This electronic auto feeder has timer for meal time, portion control, and voice recording function, with LCD panel. The food container can store up to 5 liters of cat food. See here for more funtions. I tested to record my voice with few shake of friskies plastic. It sounded super funny! Even funnier when Kiki and Kobe looked at the auto feeder, then looked at me! Hahaha!

With 3 times of meal (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), 3 portions each, I can straight walk out from the house, without to think of them being hungry. Fiuh!
Kiki (on top) and Kobe. Both male. Pic credit to Sekupang.net

Total damage : RM299 (Cage) + RM245 (Auto Feeder) + RM45 (Extra Platform) = RM589. Pfft!

Note : This does not include monthly maintenance of pine wood pallet for litter box. Yes, environmental-friendly Feline Fresh pine wood with instant odor control that absorbs 4 times more. Gile tak? And they only eat Friskies...particularly Ocean Platter. Nothing else. Haih...loving them to the bones!

Canon 550D VS Canon 1100D

There was an Orchid and Bonzai Exhibition at Taman Tasik Perdana today, and hubby and I took this opportunity to master the two DSLR. And yet, we are still learning.

Here are some shots from Travelista. He's using Canon 550D with 55-250mm zoom lens. Aperture is between 4-9 in landscape mode.

And here are some shots from me. I'm using Canon 1100D with 18-55mm standard lens. Aperture is between 4.5-5.6 in landscape mode.
