Jaket Travel Ala Budak Kolej

Dah lama rasanya tak travel ke oversea…takpe, ada hikmahnya ni (cuba tenangkan diri sendiri hahaha!) Lagipun kitorang baru je lepas selesai Home Makeover Palmiera Cacatoos Part 1. Memang agak rabak la poket kan kalo cite pasal hias rumah. Ok la, tukar topik nak berangan skit.

Seronoknya travel oversea ni sebab aku jenis yang suka sangat beli baju baru semata-mata untuk nampak cantik dalam gambar. Setiap trip aku semuanya takkan ulang baju yang sama sebab nanti bila nak letak gambar kat dalam blog atau “Wall of Frame” kat tangga rumah (ye, aku tak panggil Wall of Fame sebab memang situ tempat gantung frame pun), nampak bertukar-tukar la skit bajunya kan. Hehehe.

Perangai ni aku serapkan jugak kat hubby aku walaupun dia ni tak suka spend untuk benda yang dia rasa tak perlu. Tapi haritu untuk pegi ke Sydney, aku tension la sebab dia still nak jugak pakai jaket hitam yang slalu sangat dia pakai tu. Menyampah ok! Pegi Korea jaket tu, pegi India jaket tu, pegi mana tah lagi still jaket tu jugak.

 

So, seminggu sebelum kitorang pegi Sydney, aku try la google gambar jaket yang sesuai untuk hubby. Walaupun musim Spring, angin kat Sydney ni kalo meniup kencang, mau sejuk jugak satu badan! Jaket yang dicari-cari untuk hubby kali ni kalo bleh aku nak yang ada warna terang skit la supaya nampak lebih ceria.

Aku google senang jer, college football jacket. Hahaha! Skali keluar la gambar-gambar jaket kolej ala-ala omputeh tu kan. Memang aku berkenan sangat! Tapi aku tak sure la plak brapa harga jaket camtu. Banyak la website aku masuk. Belek punya belek gambar ada la satu tu warna kuning nama Varsity Jacket jual kat Zalora Malaysia dengan harga RM89. Lor…ada jual kat sini rupanya!

Masalahnyer tak sempat la pulak nak tunggu delivery! Patutnya awal-awal lagi aku dah order online jer…pfft! Sebab dah tak cukup masa nak mencari, kitorang pun pegi la ke shopping complex yang dekat dengan rumah untuk cari jaket yang lebih kurang macam jaket tadi. Berdesup ha hubby drive sebab sonok sangat nak shopping katanya. Ye lah, aku plak janji nak bayo…cis!

Yang best nyer, tak sangka la plak bleh jumpa yang skit lebih kurang macam jaket yang aku nak tu! Cuma kalernyer terbalik! Instead of baju tu kuning, yang ni tangan nyer kuning. Hahaha! Tapi agak unik sebab ada huruf “S” kat baju tu, sesuai la dengan nama hubby. Suka sangat! Hubby pun apa lagi, try la, ada size dan murah plak tu. Untungla ada orang belanja…

Masa kat Sydney, bila tengok hubby pakai baju tu keluar dari Malaysian Hall, terasa macam alahai muka budak Universiti plak hubby aku ni. Nampak muda jer dengan jaket kaler kuning dan kasut hi-cut Adidas dia tu. Bila tengok balik gambar-gambar kat sana, memang menarik la jaket tu sebab kaler kuning tu naik sangat! Tak sia-sia beli ha!

 

 

Haih bila nak shopping lagi ni?? Negara mana plak yang aku nak terjah ni? Of course la yang sejukkkkkkk gitewwww…hmmm…

September Babies In Adidas

"What do you want to give me?" I asked hubby.

"What do YOU want to give me?" He counter asked me back.

Trust me, that was our yearly question that we had. We both, born on September, and we both, having the same age. We had come into decision where, each of us SHOULD get each other, something/anything, more or less that cost the same price.

5 years of marriage means 5 years of birthday celebration. We had watches, pants, trips, boat cruises, so this year, we wanted something that we can wear. Since we need new shoes for Sydney trip, we both get ourselves a pair of Adidas. We chose Adidas over Nike, for we both already posses blue and red Nike Canvas.

I always love Adidas for their design and obviously, the noted three stripes. I used to have 5 pairs of sneakers; Campus, Original Gazelle, Original Samba, Original Superstar, and Original Aditrack.

Anyhow, this time, I chose non-stripe! It's a Forum Mid Casual W (dark purple with brown strap shoes). In this shoes, I feel like Yuna in her early days. Tah kenapa! Unlikely, hubby chose Superskate Vulc LV (white with red stripe shoes), coz I told him he looks younger in skate shoes. Hahaha!

Those were what lingered in my mind. I am forced to get myself new outfits, for the sake of having different printouts for my Wall of Frame.

I've been longing for a trench coat since I knew how to fly. (Thanks Na for bakar-ing me.) But I don't know why, I can say that I am constantly having issue with sizes. Like today, I found one reasonably priced trench coat, which I had to force, not one, not two, but four salesgirl in MNG Pavi to look for the size that I wanted. They almost turned me down when the available sizes were only XS, S, and XL.

Only God knows how desperate much I want this cheap trench coat, till I requested them to call other outlets in KLCC and MV, hoping that they have size M. I didn’t bother to browse the rack for other options and stood still, waiting for the girl to walkie-talkie the warehouse people.

And she came out with one piece of M-size!

“Ah…these warehouse people…they could simply say takde, takde.”

“Ya…pity you girls…you might lose your commissions…hmm…they don’t really care kan?”

Project Runaway Two.

You would never see bright colors in my wardrobe. The reason being? Coz I like black, black, black. I got to know colors when I met Skin. She used to be ridiculously colorful whenever we hang out.

And so she turned me into her…more or less. I was bold enough to get myself red and blue outfits. But never a green.

I recently went to Matta Fair for JRail Pass, but I brought back a piece of purple knitwear from Universal Traveller. In contrary, I also get myself a set of green Winter Time snowcap and shawl! 

"I'm afraid that it would be too hot to wear this during Spring..."

"But speaking of Japan, you would want to look fabulous among Nihonji!"

"Oooookayyyyy..."

Believe me? I am…not! Let’s see whether I can work it on during Sakura.

Sari India Yang Di Melayukan

Finally! Terjahit jugak kain saree yang aku beli kat India ni! Sape sangka, from Indian saree, bleh jadi Malay classic? Dipadankan pulak dengan brooch ala-ala bangsawan tu. Ye la, nak buat saree nampak perut, perut plak menjerit-jerit nak menjengah. Kim salam je la...

Kain ni sangaaaaaaaaaaat nipis dan halus. Kalo rasa nak campak dalam washer, memang keluar-keluar je terus tinggal benang. Hahaha! So nak basuh, kena celup-celup je la ye.(Na, dah buat baju ke saree you beli tu?)

Harga kain ni? RM30! Jangan tak sangka ye. Saree kat India, SUMPAH MURAH DAN CANTIK! Silap haribulan, berkati-kati John dengan Kemang bawak balik nanti. MasMZ, ko pandai-pandai la kenyit mata kat Janggel lebih-lebih, bleh dia kasi kat ko pree-pree jer sok.

Kain ni 6 meter, tapi sebab nak baju kurung hanya perlukan 4 meter, lagi dua meter yang part ekor saree tu aku simpan (warna pepel!) Mana la tau sok-sok nak buat tudung ke kan :) Elok koyak rabak dah baju ni hahaha!

SO! BELI LA SEBARANG DUA KETUL KAT INDIA NANTI YE? BERBALOI SANGAT BUAT SOUVENIR!

Green Trench Jacket

I hardly buy entertainment or fashion magazines...but I really like to read them.

It was July, and I saw one EH! magazine featuring Rozita Che Wan and a guy, where Yuna's picture was gazetted as the coming cover for August release.

I purposely waited for that release and today, I went to One Utama and the minute I saw it, I quickly grabbed one.

You know why I want it so bad?

It's Yuna's green jacket!

I WANT TO HAVE THAT JACKET, THIS BAD! *open arms* REALLY BAD!

I was flipping the pages and there I saw, the green trench jacket by Burberry. It's a fall collection and wait...where's the price? How much is it??? Damn! Tell me! *flipping pages like crazy bimbo*

Does anyone know HOW MUCH IT COSTS?

If it's a bomb...fine, I'll sew myself!

I'm A Barbie Girl

The first section that I would head to whenever I go to ToysRus, is Barbie. Yup, it's a girl thing...(and my husband still fail to understand it. Hehehe!)

I was away from my family since standard 6 till Uni life, and it's quite hard for me to get other things than something that were educative.

Though I can afford to have hundreds of these dolls nowadays, I still don't buy it...I would just keep the feeling 'there'...right at the corner of my childhood memory. Vintage.

Black Leather Jacket

I loveeeeeeeeeee leather jacket!

I used to have one, but it was mixture of PVC and leather. And so I thought it could withstand the heat, so I put it right in between the driver and co-driver leg’s room…but I was wrong! It peeled off tragically few days after! (And I just worn it twice…pfftt!)

It’s been a while I didn’t get a new one. Until last week, I bought a super cheap no-brand-leather-imitation-black-hooded jacket. I don’t know how long it will last, but on thing for sure, without a doubt, this type of material is totally wear-and-tear. Hahaha!

While window shopping few weeks before, I bumped into this pure black leather jacket and I really, really, really want to have it!

But, the moment I looked at the price, I think I rather steal it la joe!

RM660.00!!!

No, a-ah...I'm not gonna waste half a gram on this!

But, I'll take it if someone give it to me :)

Hair Care : Shampoo and Conditioner

I’m very particular when it comes to hair care. I used to be freaking loyal to Vidal Sassoon for 5 years during my college time. The reason why I chose it, coz I always had my hair colored.
Then I cheated on it. I fall in love with Pantene and since then, for freaking 8 years, I never look back. The reason why I chose it, was to eliminate the dandruff and control the hair fall.
Only God knows why I cheated for the second time. Sunsilk came into my hair-life. The conditioner was truly an addiction and it’s already been 3 years since I was under its possession. The reason why I chose it, coz I want a silky, smooth and manageable hair.
Until yesterday! And I didn’t expect to cheat again, for the third time! *slapped forehead* How did I let myself betray the current product? I proudly put the blame on RedMummy, Proudduck, and Hanis Zalikha for “the influence”. *cried*

Few days back, during lunch time, I saw a trial set for intensive repair by Dove at Watson and minutes later, I found myself at the counter, paying for it! *jaw dropped*
Squeezing the bottle and looking it drops onto my palm, gave me the new sensation. Hundreds of tiny sparkling crystals that form whitey foam, felt super silky and smelt so good. Adding to the excitement was the conditioner that led to the smoothness. Aha! Aha! *nodded*

I chose to wind-dry my hair (those who don't know me, my middle name is blow-dry). The flowery scent, the way my hair flow, I mean, the softness, sustain longer than I expected. And it didn’t frizz! Great! *exaggerated*

Let’s hope for the extensive devotion towards Dove…as long as it serves me well, I promise not to cheat…again…maybe…we’ll see :D

Military Jacket

I love MJ and FT, specifically when they wore military jacket.
Looks masculine.

And what I love about this jacket is, it has bow at the back.
That makes it more feminine.

So I get myself one.

Being using this for quite sometime since it really suits my skin color. What else, tanned lah...zzz...

Mineralize SkinFinish Natural - Dark

This is actually for shading, but I'm gonna use it for blusher. That's the price I have to pay since I have tanned skin. Tested, workable. Not easy to get a good color on your tanned cheek you know...

Satin Lipstick Rouge A Levres - Cherish

Ok...lipstick is my most spendable item. Trust me, I NEVER satisfied with almost ALL of my lipstick. I bought, I tested, I didn't like, I put it away. I bought, I tested, I like, fine, I buy 3 more and stock it. The challenge is I like nude color, and nude means pale. If the color doesn't match, I will look like sea ghost. If the color match, I will look like Kim K. Haha! As for now, I choose this one.

Lipglass Brillant A Levres

This one completes the above lipstick. Since I chose nude lipstick, I have to counter it back with darker lipglass (not lipgloss ya).

Shading Brush - 217

I've been longing for this brush since the day I watched how to get smokey eyes in youtube! Tested with Carbon Eyeshadow, it makes a perfect smokey eyes.

With all these purchase, I'm gonna eat sand, rocks and grass for the whole year. Hahaha! Dang...

Make-Up Makes Me Up

I'm a make-up person and I love to buy make-up regardless any brands at any cost. I have tonnes of unused makeups at home...its all because I used them once, then if the result dissatisfies me, I won't use it anymore. Why keep it? Well, I didn't throw them away coz I've spent an amount of money there, and obviously, I keep it to remind me for not buying the same item again and again.

I don't stick to any particular brands, but I am loyal to that product if it satisfies me to the max. All brands vary from as popular as M.A.C, as easy to get at healthcare store as L'oreal and Revlon, as individual name as Tia Amilia and R-Zac, to as unknown as China or Korean made.

I spend half an hour for make-up, just to go out leisurely, an hour for work, while approximately two hours if I have any occasion or event. This amount of time includes cleansing, anti-aging, whitening, moisturizing, and styling.

Well, I don't say that I really know how to apply all these, in fact, my sister was the one who taught me on most of the skin tips, but, I can consider myself as knowledgeable la...in some way of making me an inch beautiful than my original look.
