Miniature Faking

This thing has been bugging me for quite sometime...I am wondering, how people do miniature picture and I bet, either they do it using DSLR or they edit it using any editing software.

And so I found out that GIMP can do that, and I've tried and I agreed that, using software is much more easier. It is called "miniature faking" or tilt-shift style.

They might not be so fake, for I am just a beginner. And I tell you, it just 4 click away to get the result :)
