1000W To 2200W, Say No More

My hair dryer isn’t functioning AGAIN???

This is my sixth hair dryer and I don’t know whether I should or should not get another one. But first, I need to send the current hair dryer for repair (it was previously changed 1to1 in two months) before the warranty ended (another two months to go!). Eiiii troublesome la!

Got some recommendations from Deb and Dib, and both urged me to get a Braun hair dryer. Dib is being using it for 10 years while Deb being using it for 5 years. Gosh! I’ve been wasting my money on 6 travel-typed hair dryer for the past 13 stupid years and yet, they are using just one hair dryer for their whole life??? Life is so unfair…

Fine. I’ll go for Braun. Not because of the class, but to value my money and to get more lifespan as I AM A very HEAVY USER…means I should get a heavy duty typed of hair dryer lah ni! (Plus, the two testimonials did influence me to get one. Terer la korang!)

Terkinja-kinja nak cari satu sebab dah terdesak dengan rambut yang half blow je arini, I asked hubby to stop at Giant Kinrara. Searched for Braun, takde! Called Deb and I was sooooo lucky that she was entering Tesco at the moment I called her. Butttt, still, Tesco only have 1000w with no ion feature. Hmm…kena gi Jusco jugak la nampak nyer…

I pujuk hubby, dengan muka yang takde perasaan, dia kata ok (I cakap “U nak ke if I tak cantik?” macam la cantik sangat.) Hehe! Went into Home Appliance section and found the same 1000w Braun displayed in the display cabinet. Alaaaaaaaaaa! Mana yang 2000w niiiiii! Pusing punya pusing, hubby called me and he said “Ni ada, Philips…2200w lagi! Hebattttt…kat umah kena la letak yg besar camni, baru tahan...nak travel guna la yg kecik yg antar repair tu sebab if nak bawak yg ni, separuh beg je dah penuh dia saja...” dengan nada beria suruh beli sebab nak balik cepat.

I belek…
SALONDRY PRO, THE DRYER HAIRDRESSERS WOULD USE AT HOME

Hmmm…bunyi cam gah abih dah ni…hahaha! Baca specs and features…

- Ceramic element with far-infrared heat prevents overdrying
(I tatau la ape infrared tu bleh buat)
- Ion conditioning for frizz-free, shiny hair
(Yang ni la Deb cakap untuk frizz-free tuuuu...bagus!)
- 6 heat/speed settings to suit your hair type
(Wah-wah…mana dia tau my hair type…infrared tadi ke? Haha!)
- Cold shot sets your style
(Yang ni best, sejuk je rambut…)
- Ceramic volume diffuser
(Ni lawak, I siap tanya menachi tu, ingat untuk kasi curl, rupanya untuk volume! Buduh!)

So, with my new investment (ramai kata ok brand ni and model ni, menachi tu kata cina nyonya amoi ramai beli…a’a ye lah…) I pray for n0 m0re malfuncti0n hair dryer in short term period of time ye. Tolong la...dah la besar gedabak, if tak tahan lama tatau la...
